Die-cut fleet graphics are durable, custom-shaped vinyl decals for vehicles, featuring individual letters, logos, or shapes cut precisely from colored or printed vinyl, offering a cost-effective way to brand vehicles with contact info, DOT numbers, or branding elements, creating a professional, mobile advertisement that’s weather-resistant and long-lasting.

Key Features & Description:

  • Cut-to-Shape: Unlike simple lettering, die-cut graphics are cut precisely to the outline of your logo, text, or design, creating a “no background” look.
  • Durable Material: Made from high-quality, weather-resistant vinyl (like 3M™ Controltac™), often with UV protection, designed to withstand harsh conditions, cleaning, and road wear.
  • Versatile Applications: Perfect for company names, phone numbers, USDOT/VIN numbers on service trucks, utility vehicles, construction equipment, and even recreational vehicles.
  • Two Main Types:
    • Cut Vinyl (Lettering): Individual letters/shapes cut from solid color vinyl, applied together with a pre-mask.
    • Printed & Cut (Spot Graphics): Designs printed onto vinyl (full color, gradients) and then cut to shape, offering more design freedom.
  • Cost-Effective: A budget-friendly alternative to full vehicle wraps for establishing brand presence.
  • Easy Installation: Simple to apply (often as a single piece) and can be relatively quick to install compared to full wraps.

How They Work:

  1. Design: A vector-based design (logos, text) is created in software like Adobe Illustrator.
  2. Production: A plotter with a rotary blade cuts the design out of colored or printed vinyl sheets.
  3. Application: The cut pieces are weeded (excess vinyl removed), covered with a sticky transfer tape (pre-mask), and applied to the vehicle.
