Fence Mesh Banners
Mesh banners are large format outdoor signs made of a woven material—usually PVC or polyester—engineered with tiny, evenly spaced holes. These perforations let wind and light pass right through, making them exceptionally effective for massive outdoor displays, windy locations, and construction fences.
Why They Are Effective
- Wind resistance: The tiny holes reduce the wind load (acting like a vent), preventing the banner from acting like a sail, tearing, or pulling down its mounting structure.
- Durability: Because they suffer less stress in severe weather, they last longer outdoors without needing wind slits or frequent repairs.
- Light and transparency: They let natural light pass through, which is helpful when hung over windows or across large building wraps.
- Lightweight setup: They are easy to transport, handle, and install on large frames or chain-link fences.
Limitations to Keep in Mind
Best viewed from a distance: Because of the mesh pattern, they work best with large fonts, bold layouts, and high-contrast designs rather than intricate, fine text
Slightly lower image impact: The tiny perforations mean colors and fine details can look slightly less vibrant or opaque compared to a solid vinyl banner.
